'The Amazing Spider-Man': Reboot Get's Its Official Title

Yea, I kind of saw this coming...

Finally, we no longer have to refer to Marc Webb's upcoming Spider-Man reboot as Marc Webb's upcoming Spider-Man reboot! The official title has been announced, and they have certainly been using their imagination:

The Amazing Spider-Man...

Okay, not the most original, but it is certainly the best choice. The core spidey title for almost 60 years, the name says it all. They also released this new pic of Garfield in full costume getting ready to thwip it. Thwip it good...

/Film has the press release:

As you can see the press release also gives us the official website for the movie, as well as our first look at what the finished product might look like after all the behind the scenes shot we've seen lately.
It is starting to grow on me a little more. The web-shooters are a bit in your face and his head kind of looks like a basketball, but that pose looks essentially Spidey, so I'm glad for the pic. And I want a costume for myself.
The Amazing Spider-Man swings into theaters 07.03.2012
